Israeli Settlers Kill 2 Palestinians at Funeral in Occupied West Bank
Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank attacked a funeral procession, resulting in the deaths of two Palestinians.
The incident occurred in the village of Qusra.
The violence comes in the wake of recent terror attacks by Hamas on Israel.
Tensions have been rising in the region.
As an ambulance was transporting a wounded man and his son away from the initial attack, the settlers opened fire on the vehicle, killing both of them.
The settlers also targeted vehicles in the streets of Sawiya and Turmisiyya.
The Palestinian Red Crescent aid group reported treating people with severe gunshot wounds in the town of Qabalan.
Since Saturday, a total of 610 injuries have been reported in the West Bank, with 21 occurring on Thursday alone.
The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that 13 of these injuries were caused by live fire.
"This is a heinous crime," said the Palestinian foreign ministry in a statement.
The incident has sparked outrage and calls for justice.
